In 1937 Bobby Jones received the Georgia Tech distinguished alumni award. Jones earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 1922, as well as a B.A. in English Literature from Harvard in 1924, during the most intense part of his golfing career.
