The Robert T. Jones, Jr. Scholarship

About

The Bobby Jones Scholarship was established in 1976 by friends and family to honor the legacy of the late Robert T. Jones, Jr., world renowned golfer and Emory alumnus. The Scholarship seeks students who exemplify the legacy of Bobby Jones through intellectual excellence, significant leadership, and exemplary character, integrity, and citizenship. The Scholarship is an exchange program between Emory University and the University of St Andrews in Scotland, home of the Old Course and the people who adopted Bobby Jones as their own. Each year, four Emory University graduates and four St Andrews graduates are selected for a fully funded year of exchange between the universities. Bobby Jones Scholars pursue a master's degree or engage in exploratory, non-degree-seeking studies.

Since its inception, more than 400 students from the United States and the United Kingdom have enjoyed the opportunities provided by this unique exchange.

How to Apply

The Bobby Jones Scholarship is a university-wide scholarship that is open to graduating seniors in any undergraduate school. International students (excluding UK citizens) are eligible to apply. Applicants must be in good academic and disciplinary standing with Emory University.
